“What a joy it was to paint at Meeting of Styles Copenhagen. Huge shoutout to the crew, they did amazing work. The festival felt culturally safe, inclusive and comfortable. I met such amazing artist and had an awesome time with them all.

My artwork ‘support and connection with community’ is about community coming together to support one another. You will find the diamond firetail finch an endangered bird supported by the red brow finch and the beautiful firetail. All birds that can be found on Wiradjuri Country and throughout other nations in Australia. I find the red browed finch in my back yard on Gundungara and Dharug Country.

You may see these small flashes of red throughout the bush from these finches. A quick beautiful spark of fire on theme with NAIDOC week this year ‘Keep the Fire Burning!’ Let’s keep these birds alive and bring that mentality into different cultures throughout the world.

The clouds and waterways connect us all as I connect with other artist that painted at Meeting of Styles Copenhagen. It bought together a mix of cultures and backgrounds to connect and share.”
